About me:
Julia Piller
I am a Portland-based prep stylist with a bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design from Oregon State University. I love bringing ideas to life through thoughtful styling, detail-oriented design, and hands-on making.
My experience spans everything from garment design and 3D pattern work to prepping product for photo shoots and styling on-set. I’m passionate about the creative side of concept development and the technical design it takes to execute a functional product.
I’m currently working freelance as lead prep stylist at Nike, where I supported apparel and product styling for e-commerce photoshoots, and I continue to explore new ways to learn about the fashion industry.
Outside of professional work, I run a small business selling handmade and secondhand garments at local community events. I love attending art shows and flea markets as a way to showcase my work and support my artist friends.
I’m currently open to creative opportunities in styling and apparel design.
